Higher Grounds Dance Convention
Save the date for the 4th annual "Higher Grounds" dance convention.
The goal of this one day all-style convention is to bring dancers of the Bulverde/Spring Branch area, master teachers from across the country. This convention is designed to offer a dancer training in multiple disciplines all for one low cost and minimal travel.

Beginner: October 17th from 9:00am-3:30pm
Intermediate: October 18th from 12:00pm-7:30pm
Advanced: October 18th from 12:00pm-7:30pm

The FUN stuff:
Class Stand OUT: Guest faculty will nominate 1 student from each class. This student will be recognized at the end of day awards ceremony and will receive a certificate of recognition.
Higher Grounds FULL Scholarship: This award will be given to a dancer who was recognized by each of the faculty as a stand out in EVERY style! 1 dancer from each age division will receive a full scholarship towards the next year's Higher Grounds convention.
Higher Grounds HALF Scholarship: This award will be given to a dancer in whom the faculty sees tremendous potential and would love to see continue their training of dance. 1 dancer from each age division will receive a half scholarship towards the next year's Higher Ground convention.
Improv Contest: The top 5 dancers from each age division will be recognized at the end of day awards ceremony and receive a certificate of recognition. The winner from each age division will receive a prize!
Higher Grounds Dancer: A single dancer from the weekend will be recognized as a student who has shown great passion for the art of dance and demonstrates respect towards their faculty and peers. This student will receive a special prize!
