PRESTIGE COMPANY

BDP PRESTIGE is NEW and exclusive to dancers who are on their varsity high school dance team. The company is open to dancers who make up the most elite dancers from their respective schools and is for those wanting additional competitive opportunities outside of their school teams.

The program is designed to be extremely flexible to prevent scheduling conflicts while allowing dancers to continue to hone in on their skills and advance their training beyond technique classes. BDP Prestige dancers will meet on average 1- Sunday per month to work on a group dance and rehearse their solos and duet/trios. BDP Prestige members will be encouraged to attend college dance team workshops and will be mentored during the year if they plan to pursue college dance.

The Bulverde Dance Project is proud to have trained many dancers who have been successful in the college and professional world of dance. See below where a few of our former graduates are now.

COMMITMENT:

Dancers will be placed in 1 group dance (style of jazz or contemporary/lyrical to be voted on by group members).

Dancers will attend 2 regional competitions during the season but have the opportunity to attend additional optional competitions throughout the year.

Prestige members are guaranteed the opportunity for solo and duet/trio work should they choose to do so.

Dancers will have minimal technique class requirements and on average one weekend rehearsal per month.

Dancers are not required to participate in Christmas showcase or end of year Recital
