Jacqueline “Jackie” is a native of San Antonio, TX and began her dance training at the age of two. She immediately fell in love with the art of dance training in every style she had the opportunity to: ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, tap, hip hop and ballroom. Her talents were recognized at an early age when she proved successful within the competition circuit claiming numerous award winning titles including “Dancer of the Year” at Rainbow National Talent Competition and “StandOut Dancer” at NUVO. Her talents have taken her across the country on scholarship attending multiple world renowned ballet intensive programs include the Joffrey Ballet School in Denver, CO. These opportunities set the stage for an impressive dance career that has continued to flourish over the years. During her 18+ years of training, Jackie developed a love for choreographing and teaching. She specializes in all styles and enjoys teaching various ages of dancers. She has a special passion for commercial jazz, contemporary and modern dance. Outside of her dancing, Jackie is pursuing her Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio on academic scholarship. She is also the captain of the UTSA Pom Squad.

 

Jackie is thrilled to call Joni’s Dance Studio her new home where she will be teaching an assortment of classes and choreographing for the Bulverde Dance Project. She is excited to share her passion for the arts while instilling excellent technique and creativity into all of her students.
